Brazil Anti-Dumping Measures on Steel Coils from China

Subject: Anti-dumping duties applicable to steel coils exported from China to Brazil
 
Dear Partners,
 
This is to inform you that Brazil has officially implemented definitive anti-dumping duties on certain steel coil products originating from China, effective upon publication.
 
Products Covered:
 
- Cold-rolled carbon steel coils (CRC)
- Hot-dipped galvanized / alu-zinc coated steel coils (GI/GL/PPGI/PPGL)
 
Key Information:
 
1. Anti-dumping duties will be levied on all above-mentioned imports from China for a period of 5 years.
2. Dumping margins vary by company and product, ranging approximately from USD 280–710/ton.
3. All shipments must pay the applicable anti-dumping duty upon customs clearance in Brazil.
4. Shipments without proper duty payment WILL NOT be released by Brazilian Customs.
 
Reminder for Shipment:
 
- Before arranging shipment to Brazil, please confirm the applicable anti-dumping duty rate with your local customs broker or us.
- Prepare all required documents in advance to avoid customs delays or extra costs.
